Lab meeting this week is back on Tuesday. Matthew Haggerty will be talking this week. His talk title is “Kelp Forests to Coral Reef Metagenomes”.
We will meet at the Genome Center in room 4202 from 1:30 to 3pm.

We will have lab meeting this week on Friday March 1st from 10:30 to 11:30 am in room 5206. The Undergrads from the Aquarium project will be presenting.

This week’s lab meeting will be led by Phillip Seitzer from the Facciotti lab. The title for the talk is: “JContextExplorer: a tree-based approach to facilitate cross-species genomic context comparison”.
We will be meeting from 1:30 to 3:00pm in room 4202 at the Genome Center.

Jenna is organizing a lab outing this week instead of lab meeting. We will meet in the Genome Center at noon and carpool to the Yolo Basin Wildlife Area for a little hiking/bird watching/otter spotting. Plan to head back at around 3pm.
