I am an evolutionary biologist and a Professor at U. C. Davis. (see my lab site here). My research focuses on the origin of novelty (how new processes and functions originate). To study this I focus on sequencing and analyzing genomes of organisms, especially microbes and using phylogenomic analysis

  1. I found you because of Trevor Marshall and the autoimmune network forum. (he makes me crazy) Thank you for your blogs with the voice of reason. Angelabiggs.blogspot.com I have been working on multiple hypotheses: autoimmune cross-targeting, quorum confusion, gluten's barrier crossers, and reanalyzing Francis Peyton Rous' co-carcinogenesis….I would love to have your opinion.
