Obviously wrong from the perspective of what they wanted to say, but it brings up an interesting point: Are microscopic multicellular organisms (including *actual* microscopic plants and animals) microorganisms? Or do they have to be both microscopic and unicellular?

I am OK w/ multicellular creatures that are very very small being called microorganisms. But I probably would not include nematodes in this …
