New Marine Protected Areas postdoc opportunities

Dear Colleagues,

CMSI, in collaboration with CA Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), is seeking to fill three postdoc positions in the science of adaptive management of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs). This is an exciting new opportunity to merge innovative research with real world management questions to advance the science of adaptive management in the context of the world’s most extensive MPA networks. I am an evolutionary biologist and a Professor at U. C. Davis. (see my lab site here). My research focuses on the origin of novelty (how new processes and functions originate). To study this I focus on sequencing and analyzing genomes of organisms, especially microbes and using phylogenomic analysis
